Some information: Based on manned Vostok spacecraft developed at OKB-1 by SP Korolev (now RSC Energia). It consists of a spherical returnable capsule 2.3 m in diameter and weighing about 2,400 kg. All special equipment (photographic, photo-television, radio intelligence) was installed inside the spherical capsule. The cameras were installed so that their optical axes were perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the spacecraft. The survey was carried out through multi-glass windows cut in the cover of one of the two large-diameter technological hatches.
